The 2nd edition of NNormal’s Adventure Trail Running Shoe brings together the famous EExpure supercritical midsole foam found in the Kjerag with mountain toughness and durability.

What’s New

The NNormal Tomir 2.0 replaces the EVA midsole from the Tomir 1.0 with the EExpure Midsole found in the NNormal Kjerag. The EExpure midsole is a highly durable midsole that has provided runners in Salida, Co with 600 to 800 miles of durability with the NNormal Kjerag. We expect to receive similar mileages of 500 to 700 of use in the NNormal Tomir 2.0. Additionally, the upgraded midsole is slightly softer, lighter, more responsive and has less break-in period compared to the previous editions. The fit is very similar with a smidge more room in the toe box compared to the Tomir 1.0.. Most runners feel the shoe now fits true to size. If you’re normally a men’s 10.5 then you should select a men’s 10.5 for the NNormal Tomir 2.0.

The NNormal Tomir 2.0 combines a full rubber Vibram® Megagrip Litebase outsole with a supercritical EExpure Midsole Foam and Ripstop TPE mesh. Technologies

  • EExpure Midsole Foam

One of the most durable foams we sell at 7000 Feet Running Company the EExpure supercritial foam first came to 7000 Feet Running Company in the NNormal Kjerag. This foam has delivered between 600 to 800 miles for nearly all runners who have run in the Kjerag. We are extremely excited that this Supercritial Foam has been added to the toughest shoe in the NNormal footwear quiver. We are expecting anywhere from 500 to 700 miles for most users of the NNormal Tomir 2.0. The foam makes the Tomir 2.0 softer, more responsive with smoother transitions between foot strike and toe-off compared to the previous edition.

  • Vibram® Megagrip Litebase Outsole

This is the most durable and lightest outsole rubber made by Vibram®. The NNormal Tomir 2.0 has a full rubber outsole with 33 lugs that vary between 4mm and 7mm provide optimal lug depth and traction no matter the placement of foot strike and toe off. Additionally every side of the lugs have added texture to ensure all surfaces of the outsole remain grippy and tacky.

  • Ripstop TPE Mesh Upper

TPEs are known for their stiffness and abrasion resistance while remaining soft enough for many hours of use in the mountains. The Ripstop TPE upper locks the foot, protects and remains durable. This fit of the upper is a medium volume fit but has more space in the forefoot compared to the previous model. The lace system is asymetrical allowing for increased volume in the forefoot while maintaining a lockdown in midfoot. This shoe will keep the foot in place on those long technical downhills.
